K5 Construction is currently undertaking groundwork for a high-performance cement factory at Tower Wharf. Given the low-lying site, we are executing a comprehensive stormwater management plan with intricate drainage systems, ensuring all components function seamlessly within a challenging environment. We are also forming pile mats to support over 240 piles required for the new factory slab. Among the project’s unique elements is a highly engineered weighbridge system, allowing silos to be positioned 20 meters above ground on a steel structure, creating a seamless passage for trucks beneath. The 450mm thick reinforced concrete slab, engineered to accommodate silo weight and maintain drainage integrity, is a testament to our innovative approach and capability in managing complex industrial projects.
