At Seacon Terminals, K5 Construction completed an extensive groundwork project, tackling the complexities of storm and foul drainage and site stabilization adjacent to a riverbank. Our scope included demolishing the old Seacon building and converting the area into a lorry park, essential for logistics. We prioritized sustainability throughout, screening and crushing materials for reuse, minimizing environmental impact, and optimizing costs. Through value-engineering techniques, we redefined the drainage system layout and incorporated high-capacity pumps, which simplified installation, reduced costs, and streamlined ongoing maintenance. This project underscores our ability to merge environmental responsibility with cost-effective and resilient groundwork solutions, delivering an outcome aligned with the client’s long-term needs.
